On her way home from school, Macy told Aaron that she had a "Storm Drill at school today." After sharing a few more details about the Storm Drill. She confirmed that, "They didn't touch us with the drill though. It didn't hurt us."

Sprinkly Feet
Before her bath tonight, Macy was spending a particularly long time on the potty. When she finally got off she yelled in a partially confused, partially scared, partially excited voice, "MOM, MY FEET ARE SPRINKLY! THEY HAVE SPRINKLES INSIDE THEM!"
Her feet had fallen "asleep" while on the potty & were tingling

Pinkilicious
We took what was planned to be a day trip to the Indianapolis Zoo....we left late, had to stop alot on the drive down, so got to the zoo late. After it had closed actually (fall hours = close early!) So, we decided to stay the night & try again the next morning. We didn't bring any overnight items with us, so we went to the Citi Center Mall to eat dinner & get a few necessities. I took, Macy with me to Victoria's Secret to look for some PJ's for me. When we walked in the store, she had a very excited look on her face and said, "Mom, this place is PINKILICIOUS!!!"

Hot Body
While buckling Macy into her carseat, she informed us that she has a new friend at school! She told us "Her name is Lauren. She has a hot body."
My mom and I looked at each other but somehow avoided laughing.
The next day she was talking about Lauren again, and again said she had a "hot body." I asked her who said that she had a hot body, and she said "Miss Cathy" (her preschool teacher). I then asked why Miss Cathy said she had a hot body and Macy told me "because she wasn't in school because she was sick. She had a fever!"
To Macy, "fever" means "hot body!"
PHEW!

Roof fell off!
While playing outside, Macy noticed a car that drove by. Quickly, in a very alarmed & concerned voice she yelled "Mommy, look! That car's roof fell off!!!!"
It was a convertable.

As I was putting Macy down to sleep (working at my laptop in her rocking chair), she asked for a cup of water. Since its only a couple days after Cole was born, I wanted to avoid an extra trip up & down the steps, so I sent Aaron an email to him downstairs asking him to bring up some water for her. I told Macy, "I just sent daddy a message to see if he can bring up some water for you instead."
Macy then asks, "Mommy, what's a message??"
Mommy then says, "Its like a little note."
Macy asks, "What's a note?"
Mommy says, "It's an email."
Macy says, "Ooh, an email!"
